Al’s Hideaway Cabins and RV Rentals
Pipe Creek, Texas

Please scroll down for more details

This is a perfect destination for a large group or just for a couple to get away from it all in the beautiful Texas Hill Country near Pipe Creek, just a short distance from Bandera, Boerne and Helotes . There are six new log cabins that are very thoughtfully finished for your comfort. Each is set at an angle so that you’re space is private with no view of your neighbors in the next cabin, just a view of the meadow and the wildlife that roam this 20 acre property. Each cabin has a King bed, bath with large shower and hairdryer, kitchenette with microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker, satellite TV and French doors that open onto a porch with a table and two chairs. There are two gas grills at the large common pavilion area for your use. Paper goods, grilling utensils and plastic ware are supplied there. Window units provide A/C and heat. All bed and bath linens are provided.

The ten pull through RV spaces with 30/50 amp hook ups are quite wide and have a chip seal base. Below the pavilion there are six more pull in RV spaces with 30/50 amp hook ups by the meadow. If you prefer to camp there is lots of space here to set up your tent and enjoy the natural surroundings. Red Bluff Creek runs through the property as well as a seasonal creek. The pavilion is a great gathering place. Besides the huge outdoor kitchen with icemaker there are numerous picnic tables, a large screen satellite TV, stereo music system, a men’s bath with a large walk in shower and a ladies room again with a large walk in shower. Two portable wifi hot spots are available for guests and there is good AT&T cell service. Children and your well behaved pet are welcome. Al’s Hideaway is very biker friendly and a wonderful location for exploring the great rides the Hill Country has to offer.

Reviews

Al's Hideaway Cabins and RV Rentals completely blew our expectations out of the water. We just wanted a place to sleep after we explored the Bandera area. When we arrived to check in we were quickly greeted by the host and we felt like we were being greeted by an old friend. We felt so welcome and impressed by the cabins and the grounds. It is still a new location so the landscaping is still in the process of being built up but you can see how amazing this place is going to be! Gordon, the host told us all about the area, some fun things to check out, and loved on our dog (65 lb pit mix) so he would feel welcome too. We fell in love with the property and decided to just hike around there for a while and check it all out. We are from Texas but the Hill Country is like another world! The cabins are small but smartly laid out to make use of all the space. They have everything you need, plus stuff you didn't know you needed. After exploring, we decided to just pick up some BBQ in Pipe Creek and head back to watch football. We made use of their large pavilion that had full size gas grills, sinks, full size refrigerator (full of soda and water for you!), restrooms, and a big screen tv for us to watch our game. There are televisions in the cabins but it was a beautiful evening and we wanted to be outside. We were the only ones using the pavilion but they turned on the accent lights for us and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Plenty of space to jump around when Baylor (me) or OU (her) made a touchdown (it was the 2017 Baylor/OU game, so you can imagine how much jumping around there was). This place is ideal for large groups, events, and even a romantic night away from the city. We felt like we were staying with friends and we can't wait to go back. Becky, Austin, TX September 2017
